Site supervision and construction management

Aurora Engineering provides MEP site supervision and construction management according to work stage 8 of the German HOAI: review of contractors’ shop drawings, supervision of installation for compliance with design and standards, schedule and cost control, commissioning management, acceptance and handover of documentation, followed by post-completion services in work stage 9.

The best design is of little use if it is not built that way. Our site supervision ensures that systems are installed as designed, properly commissioned and handed over with complete documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about site supervision

Do you also supervise designs by other offices?

Yes. We provide construction supervision even when the design comes from another office, after familiarisation with the design and contracts.

How often are you on site?

That depends on construction phase and project size. During rough installation and commissioning usually several times a week, documented in the site diary.

What does commissioning management include?

Coordination of all commissioning activities, functional tests of individual systems, balancing and integrated testing of their interaction, for example in case of fire, as well as operator training.
