Special-purpose properties
Technical due diligence for special-purpose properties
In laboratories, cleanrooms, data centres, hospitals and industrial plants, building services are often the largest cost item and risk driver. Our design experience in these fields feeds into the assessment.
-
Laboratory and cleanroom
Ventilation, cleanroom classes and media supply determine usability and conversion cost. We assess whether the systems support the intended use.
View focus area -
Data centre
Cooling, power supply and redundancy decide availability and expandability. We review reserves, age and operating cost.
View focus area -
Hospital and healthcare
Hygiene, safety power and medical media are demanding in existing buildings. We show defects and investment needs early.

HanoverFrequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions on technical due diligence
What does a technical due diligence of building services examine?
It assesses condition, remaining service life and investment needs of the building services: heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, electrical systems, building automation and lifts. It also covers operator duties and the energy classification.
How long does a TDD take?
We align the timetable with your transaction process. We deliver the red flag report within 5 working days after the site inspection and the full report afterwards.
Do you also carry out TDD for portfolios?
Yes. For several properties we use one rating scheme so that the results are comparable.
Want to know the technical risks before deciding?
We assess the building services of your property independently, transparently and within your transaction timetable.
